Week 4: Runes of Aldur: divines push past 360 ex, runes explode, essences cool

Week four on the Currency Exchange: one Divine cost 55% more Exalted than Monday, runes repriced hard, breach catalysts kept climbing, and last week's essence chase gave back the move.

Week 3 ended with one Divine at 197 Exalted and a question whether the peg would pause above 190 ex. Week 4 didn't pause — divines kept getting more expensive in Exalted terms, runes repriced like someone flipped a switch, and the essence names that led Week 3 gave a chunk of the move back. If you need the arc from league open, Week 1 and Week 2 cover patch chaos through the first Trialmaster key spike.

This Weekly Market Recap is built from what we captured on the Currency Exchange between June 20 and June 26 — currency pairs, typed markets, and vendor recipes, hour by hour.

Number of the week
+55%

How much more expensive one Divine got in Exalted terms — 238 ex per div on June 20, 369 ex per div by June 26.

What moved up

The Divine–Exalted peg didn't flatten. The baseline we track moved from 238 Exalted per Divine at the start of the window to 369 Exalted per Divine by Friday close. That's +55% on top of Week 3's already-brutal climb. If you're farming Exalted and waiting to convert, the price of entry rose again — and the inflation ladder still applies to everything priced in divines.

Runes had the loudest repricing. Lesser Robust Rune went from 0.06 div to 1.47 div (+2252%) — thin at the open, real volume by close. Rune of Foundations climbed from 0.17 div to 1.45 div (+770%). Last week's rune chase names rotated: Cadigan's Epiphany finished the week 69% lower after Week 3's climb.

Lineage supports kept splitting. Atziri's Allure surged from 0.48 div to 3.46 div (+623%). Ixchel's Torment climbed from 1 div to 6 div (+486%). Same category, opposite week from Breachlord's Amalgam in Week 3 — portfolio, not a single gem.

Breach catalysts didn't cool off. Refined Uul-Netol's Catalyst went from 0.06 div to 0.42 div (+552%). Skittering Catalyst doubled again on a thicker book (+198%). Ritual omens bounced after Week 3's slide: Omen of Answered Prayers climbed 241% while Omen of Abyssal Echoes fell 46% — favour farming still rotating which omens clear.

What moved down

Essences gave back Week 3's chase. Perfect Essence of the Infinite dropped 76% (0.34 div → 0.08 div) after mid-tier essences led the prior recap. If you bought the essence ladder at the top, the market finished part of that argument.

Runes rotated both ways in the same week. Cadigan's Epiphany fell 69% (2.6 div → 0.81 div) while lesser-tier runes exploded — chase tier doesn't stay on one name for long.

Expedition supply met demand on saga-tier output. Olroth's Saga dropped 53% (0.38 div → 0.18 div). For how saga farming fits the broader loop, see the Aldur's Saga guide.

Abyss drops kept sliding from early-league highs. Preserved Collarbone fell 69% and Preserved Rib shed 43% — same supply-meets-demand story as Week 3.

Rising
  • Lesser Robust Rune
    0.06 → 1.47 div — rune tier repriced hard.
  • Rune of Foundations
    0.17 → 1.45 div — +770% on div books.
  • Atziri's Allure
Lineage support +623% — chase tier rotating.
  • Skittering Catalyst
    0.07 → 0.22 div — breach catalysts still climbing.
Crashing
  • Perfect Essence of the Infinite
Top essence slot -76% — Week 3 chase cooled.
  • Cadigan's Epiphany
    2.6 → 0.81 div — last week's rune winner reversed.
  • Olroth's Saga
Expedition saga -53% — supply caught up.
  • Omen of Abyssal Echoes
Ritual omen -46% while other omens bounced.

By the numbers

June 20–26 on the Exchange:

  • 87,075 price points in the window
  • 561 distinct items tracked on the busiest day
  • 369 ex per Divine at week close (from 238 ex on day one — Divine more expensive in Exalted terms)
  • 1.47 div Lesser Robust Rune close
  • 3.46 div Atziri's Allure close
  • Runes category throughput up — 135 items tracked, mid-tier repricing still active
  • Currency category still owns volume — Exalted and Chaos orbs dominate hourly throughput

What we're watching for week 5

Two macro threads: whether the Divine–Exalted peg finally pauses above 350 ex, and whether rune repricing spreads from lesser tiers into the names that already moved in Weeks 2 and 3. Lineage supports are still the micro volatility — Allure and Torment climbed while other chase gems in the same category finished lower.

Atlas unlock order still matters when categories rotate this fast — wrong tree means you're farming the mechanic after prices moved. The 335-passive route guide ties passive unlock order to the loops that actually show up on the Exchange.

We'll keep freezing these numbers every Friday — if you want the live edges while prices move, the scanner updates hourly.

Check the Exchange before you commit capital. Week 4 rewarded people who read the ex rate and rotated with runes and breach — and punished people who held last week's essence and rune chase names into this week's supply.
